Abstract


The mosquito netting treated with permethrine 2% mark Olyset Net is effective against the Anopheles gambiae. The resistance of this vector due to this insecticide is more worrying from the third month of use. Mesh of that mosquito would be 4mm permanent contact between humans and the vector which explains the perpetuation of this epidemic in our study area despite the extension of nets made by health agencies.

Abstract: (french)


La moustiquaire imprégnée de la perméthrine à 2% de marque Olyset net est efficace contre les Anophèles gambiae. La résistance de ce vecteur due à cet insecticide devient plus inquiétante à partir du troisième mois de son utilisation. La maille de cette moustiquaire étant de 4mm de diamètre ne limiterait le contact permanent entre l'homme et le vecteur, ce qui explique la pérennisation de cette endémie de notre aire d'étude en dépit de la vulgarisation des moustiquaires faite par les organismes sanitaires.
