Abstract


This article presents a study on the demographic and socio-economic profile of sub-Saharan migrants in an irregular situation in the Laayoune City. We then analyze the reasons and reasons for migration. A questionnaire was prepared for this study and randomly distributed to sub-Saharan immigrants. The data obtained is analyzed by means of a software program: (Sphinx Lexica 2000). The study showed that the average age of the studied population is 29 years of which 20% are women, the majority of sub-Saharan migrants in Laayoune are of Senegalese origin followed by Malians, this young population decided to stop their studies by working to finance their migration project, at the interpersonal level. As concerns the socio-professional category, the study showed that 62.42% are workers and 35, 71% are unemployed. Finally, the possibility of finding work more easily in the country of final destination and poverty remain two factors that encourage immigrants to leave their origin countries.

Dans cet article, nous traitons le profil démographique et socio-économique des migrants subsahariens en situation irrégulière à la ville de Laâyoune ensuite nous analysons les motifs et raisons de la migration. Un questionnaire a été établi à cette étude et distribué d’une façon aléatoire aux immigrants subsahariens. Les données sont traitées à l’aide d’un logiciel spécifique (Sphinx Lexica 2000). Après administration du questionnaire, l’étude a montré que L’âge moyen de la population enquêté est de 29 ans dont 20% sont des femmes, la majorité des migrants subsahariens à Laâyoune sont d’origine sénégalais suivi par des maliens, cette jeune population a décidé d’arrêter leurs études en travaillant pour financer leur projet de migration. En ce qui concerne le CSP, l’étude a montré que 62,42% sont des ouvriers et 35, 71% sont des chômeurs. Enfin La possibilité de trouver du travail plus facilement au pays de destination finale et la pauvreté restent deux facteurs qui incitent les immigrants à quitter leurs pays d’origine.
